Delta - Mrs. Lovisa Bathrick, whose death occurred here on Monday, was one of the best known and most highly respected residents of ths vicinity. She is survived by one son, Charles N. Bathrick of this place, also her aged mother, Mrs. John H. Gould of Rome, three brothers and two sisters, Cyrus Gould of Lee Center, Andrew Gould of Texas, David Gould and Mrs. Mary Bathrick of Rome, and Mrs. Eliza Wood of Syracuse. She lived a pure Christian life and will be greatly missed by a large circle of friends. Her grandfather, Ebenezer Gould, was one of the early residents of the northern part of Rome, living on the cross road between the Palisades and the Delta road. The house stood on a little hill called by some "Gould Hill" on the farm now owned by Edward Hurlburt and was torn down only five years ago.
