Dale R. Gragson, 61, of Cornell, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL
His service will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Cornell with a visitation an hour prior to the service at the church with Dick Leonard officiating. Burial will be at Cornell Cemetery in Cornell, IL.
Visitation will be Monday, January 25, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac.

Dale was born October 15, 1954 in Streator, IL to Jurrel Q. and Mary Lou (Allen) Gragson.
He married Kathy L. Harms on September 2, 1978 at First Baptist Church in Dwight, IL. She survives in Cornell, IL.
Also surviving are his children, Jeremy Q. Gragson, Jackie N. Gragson, and Justin T. Gragson, all of Cornell, IL; brothers, Jerry L. Gragson of Cornell, IL and Billy Joe Gragson of Halfway, MO; sister, Darlene (John) Skeens of Halfway, MO; and grandchildren, Clayton R. Gragson and Kaylynn E. Gragson, both of Cornell, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dale was a graduate of Woodland High School, Class of 1972 and worked as a Machine Operator for Caterpillar in Pontiac.
Dale enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was active in FFA in high school and a proud member of the NRA and the UAW Local 2096.
