Bea was born in Owensboro to John and Beulah Gasser. She graduated from Owensboro High School and attended Georgetown College, Georgetown, Ky.
After World War II, she worked as a claims examiner for the Kentucky State Employment Service in Owensboro and Madisonville, Ky.
She moved to Indianapolis in 1964 and worked at the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library for 17 years. She retired in 1984.
Bea moved to Sarasota, Fla., in 1986 to be closer to her family. She was a member of Church of the Palms, Mary Magdalene Circle, Encore and Tiger Bay Club. Bea was an avid reader and bridge player. She enjoyed her book club and bridge clubs. She was a participating member in exercise classes at a local fitness center. Her children and grandchildren brought her great joy.
She was predeceased by her son John Disney on Sept. 25, 2005.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Graham; son Dr. Braun Graham and his wife, Jeanne; granddaughter Lauren; grandson Worth; nephew Steve Hammond of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; and nieces Jan Gentes of Soquel, Calif., and Lyn Fehr of Santa Cruz, Calif.
