Deland - The Home Going Service for Mrs. Inez Graham Brewton, who departed this life Thursday, May 24, 2007 while residing at Woodland Terrace Nursing Home DeLand, FL. will be12 pm Saturday, June 2, 2007 at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Blitchton, FL. Reverend Izell James, Pastor will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel Cemetery, Fairfield, FL. The visitation hours will be 12- 4pm Friday at Summers' Funeral Home Ocala, FL. The wake will be 6-7:30pm Friday evening at the Church. Mrs. Brewton, the eldest child and only daughter, was born to the late Willie and Geneva Roberts Graham in Blitchton, FL., on March 15, 1918. She was educated at Blaze Pond Elementary School and Howard Academy in Ocala, FL. Inez and the late Dewie Brewton, Sr. were joined in Holy Matrimony August 1, 1939. At a very early age, she committed her life to Christ. Upon joining New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church she was baptized and served on the usher board, sang in the choir and was an affiliate of the deaconess ministry until her health failed. In addition to her husband Mrs. Brewton was preceded in death by her eldest son, Dewey W. Brewton, Jr., a step-son, Willie Dewie Williams and two brothers, Andrew "BC" and Robert Graham. She leaves to cherish her loving memories; 4 daughters, Mae Lois Brooks (David Sr.) of Miami, FL., Pinellas Godwin (Henry Sr.) of Blitchton, FL., Vivian Robinson (Harry) of DeLand, FL., and Joretta Brewton-Akpo-Sanni of Augusta, GA.; 2 sons, Carnell Brewton of Ocala, FL., and Amin Shaheed "Curtis" (Vera) of Blitchton, Fl.; daughter-In-law, Jacquelyn Brewton, of Blitchton, FL.; aunt, Bertha Gaskin, of Ocala, FL.; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Dora Roberts of Claxton, Ga. and Cloteria Brown, of Ocala, Fl.; brothers-in-law, Rev. Freddie Marshall (Odessa) of Claxton, Ga. and Dea. David Marshall (Carolyn), of Ft.
