Carolyn Graham Bosworth, age 83 of Dallas, TX, passed away September 5, 2013. She was born December 13, 1929 in Lincoln, AL, to Joseph Carl & Lottie LeGette Graham. Carolyn was a registered nurse and had worked for the American Red Cross. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Heath, TX.

Carolyn was born into a large, loving, and hard working family. She learned to apply herself in school and service to others becoming a compassionate and professional caregiver. In 1959, she married Richard, Sr., a career US Air Force Officer. Together they embarked on a remarkable journey that took them to many places, foreign and domestic, and into the lives of countless people. During this first phase of their life together, they brought three children into the world and began instilling in them outstanding life skills that both Carolyn and Dick valued and lived as well.

In 1972, following retirement from the Air Force, the family moved to Texas to begin their next phase of life around Dick's second career in the legal profession. Carolyn remained steadfast to Dick and the kids and went back to work once the kids were all old enough to take care of themselves. She volunteered in the church and in various communities in which she lived, having a special fondness for Meals on Wheels as time allowed and most recently with HATS in Heath and crafting at the church. She was an avid fisherman and enjoyed yard work, sports - especially golf, reading, and crossword puzzles.

Carolyn is survived by her sons: Rick Bosworth of Dallas, TX, Brian Bosworth & wife Melissa of Decatur, TX, and Greg Bosworth of Dallas, TX; sisters: Nita Graham of Augusta, GA, and June Hudson & husband Jack of Lincoln, AL; brother: Glenn Graham & wife Top of Talladega, AL; and grandchildren: Megan Hughes & husband Evan and Corey Bosworth, all of Decatur, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Bosworth, Sr.; one sister; and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Heath, 140 Smirl Dr, Heath, TX, with Rev. Dean Libby officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, AL.
