Mrs Julia E Cornaire, 71, widow of George Cornaire, died at her home just off the Rosiere St Lawrence road on Friday afternoon, August 16. A native of Rosiere, Mrs Cornaire was born October 12, 1874, a daughter of Phillip and Mary Sinet Granger. She attended the schools in the town of Cape Vincent. She was married to George Cornaire on April 22, 1896, at the Episcopal church, in Cape Vincent. Mr Cornaire died February 14, 1945. Mrs Cornaire was a member of St John's Episcopal church, Cape Vincent, and the St Lawrence Grange. She is survived by two sons, Louis Cornaire, of Rosiere, and Cornelius, of Watertown; three daughters, Mrs John Clark, of
Mannsville; Mrs Bert McKensye of Boston, Mass, and Mrs Lyle Riley, of Philadelphia; also by one brother, John Granger, of Rosiere
