Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah
Crankshaw, former Gloversville
resident, will be held Wednesday
afternoon at 2:30 at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. James H. Gates,
in North Broadalbin The Rev. B.
L. Crapo, pastor of the Broadalbin
Methodist church, will officiate. Interment
will be made in the Fern
Dale cemetery.
Mrs. Crankshaw, 83, widow of
Jacob Crankshaw, died Sunday afternoon
at 1 at the home of' her
daughter after a long illness. She
was born in Herkimer county and
resided in Gloversville until 12
years ago, when she left to make
her home with her daughter. She
was a devout member of the Fremont
Street Methodist church.
The survivors are her daughter,
eight grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
