Eva Neal Blevins, 95, of Johnson City, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at NHC of
Johnson City. She was a native of Jefferson County, daughter of the late Ernest
and Rosetta Gass Grant.

Eva was retired machine operator in the textile industry.

She was a longtime member of the Pine Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, her husband, C. R. Blevins in 1992; a son-in-law,
Kenneth Sells in 2009; a sister, Lena Grant and a brother, Charles Grant,
preceded her in death.

Survivors include: her daughter, Beulah Sells of Johnson City; a sister, Dorothy
Stasa of Michigan; two granddaughters, Kelly Leglar and her husband Billy of
Jacksonville Beach, FL, Kimberly McKinney and her husband Kevin of St. Louis,
MO; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, “Tinky” Miller of Johnson City;
two special nephews, Mickey Grant and Wayne Grant both of Johnson City.

A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the
South Chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Paul
Crowe. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at
2:00 pm. Following the funeral service a procession to Monte Vista Memorial Park
for the committal service. Active pallbearers will be: Mickey Grant, Wayne
Grant, Terry Miller and Michael Voitlein.
