OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — Nancy Carole Grant, of Oak Ridge, passed away April 11, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Clifford and Ada Jones McBryar; sisters, Delores Barnett, Joan Mahler and June La Scala; grandchildren, Bobby Hamby and Donovan Shelton.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Edward Grant Sr.; brother, Mackie McBryar and his wife, Nancy; children, Debra Grant, Elizabeth Grant Shelton and husband, Danny, and Butch Grant and wife, Peggy Sue, Carolyn Grant Leonard and husband, Billy, and Benjamin Aaron Grant and Linda Lee; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Grant was a faithful Christian and a passionate artist having been a member of the Foothills Craft Guild. Her crafts were adored by many.
She was a loving wife, sister, mother and friend to all and she will be sadly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012, at Weatherford Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. with Eugene Underwood officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
