Obituary:
Mrs. Mary "Gail" Grant Fisher, beloved mother, sister and friend, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 2, 2012. She was 59 years old. Gail lived in Rockwood and was a 1971 graduate of Rockwood High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents: E.T. Grant and Mary Lane Grant. And one nephew: Eddie Nelson.
She is survived and will be missed by two daughters: Nickie Brown of Rockwood and Layla Fisher of Oak Ridge. Five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Two sisters and a brother in law: Alice and Dean Langley and Kathy Swicegood of Oakdale. Gail also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and special friends including: Becky, Buttons, Susan, and Diane.
The family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman, on Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Wayne Nelson and Bro. Jim Disney officiating. Family and friends will meet at 6:00 PM Monday at the Mt. Teaman Baptist Church Cemetery in the Dry Hill community for graveside services.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to the account of "Mary G. Fisher" at any O.R.N.L. Federal Credit Union location.
