Lois Elaine Blanchard was born April 28, 1934 in Simco, Ontario, Canada. She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years and 8 days.
Lois had been a Tulsa resident for the past 26 years. Prior to that she had lived in Missouri and California. She enjoyed crafts, baseball and football.
Lois is survived by son, Brian Blanchard and wife, Jacqueline of League City, TX; daughter, Diane Baney and husband, Rockie of Tulsa; daughter-in-law, Kristi Blanchard of Murrietta, CA; sister, Phyllis Wicklein of St. Louis, MO; nephew, Jeff Bizantz of Broken Arrow; niece, Cheri Bertani of St. Louis, MO; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Alfred and Sarah Pearl (Pettigrew) Low; and son, Bruce Blanchard.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10:30 am, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 4300 E. 91st St. Arrangements are under the direction of Heath-Griffith Funeral Home.
