Euda Pearl Bragdon, 90, of Laurel went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011. Euda was born on November 6, 1921 in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of Eldon and Grace Grass. Euda married James Roy Bragdon and together they had four children: Carroll, Gerald (Dale), Linda and James. James Sr. died in 1951. The joy of Euda's life was her loving family including six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Euda was predeceased by her parents and by four siblings: Edith, Velma, Harold and Donald. She is survived by her sister, Cora; and her husband, Harold Brown of Westbrook, Maine. Euda is also survived by her son Carroll, his daughter Ruth, her husband Chris Rose and their children Charles, Emily and Aaron, and his son Kevin (Scott) Bragdon; by her son and caregiver, Dale Bragdon; by her daughter, Linda Short Yoder, her husband Ronald Yoder, Linda's daughter Nancy Short Braddee and her husband Michael Braddee, Nancy's daughter Jessica and her husband Brian Flaherty and their children Nathaniel and Leah, and Nancy's sons Zachary Pinner and Lucas Pinner, Linda's son Frank and his wife Lauralee Short and their children Samantha and Dustin, Ron's son Brian, his wife Lisa Yoder and their children Erica and Spencer, and Ron's son John and his wife Kelly Yoder; and by her son James and his wife Joan Bragdon and their son Dwight, his wife Levida Bragdon and their children Caroline, Kyle and Elizabeth and their son David and his daughter Shelby. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street, Greenwood, DE 19950. Friends may call one hour prior to funeral. Interment will be held at Laurel Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel. The fine people of Delaware Hospice were a tremendous blessing to Euda and her family in her final days.
