Mrs. Albert J. Brooks, a former esteemed
teemed resident of Wyanett, Isanti
county, passed away at the home of her
daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs
Wm. Stubbs, of Dalbo, last Friday.
The deceased had been an invalid for
years and for the past winter been bedfast.
The remains were taken to Long
Lake, Hennepin County, Tuesday,
where the final services were conducted.
Deceased, whose maiden name was
Ruth A. Graves, was born in Indiana,
April 21, 1846, so at the time of her
death was 70 years, 2 months, and 16
days old. She accompanied her par
ents to Minnesota when a small girl.
Forty-six years ago she was united in
marriage to Albert J. Brooks, at Long
Lake, and they immediately came to
Wyanett, where they settled on a
homestead. They resided there until
about thirty years ago, when they re
turned to Long Lake. The past three
years they have lived with Mr. and
Mrs. Stubbs in Dalbo.
Besides the husband deceased is survived
by one daughter and three sons,
viz: Mrs. Wm. E. Stubbs of Dalbo,
Warner Brooks of Pine City, Oscar
Brooks of Long Lake, and Earl Brooks
of Princeton.
