Funeral services for Gladys Odom Gray, 96, will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2002 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Michael Holley, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ruston, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2002 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gray was a native of Jackson Parish, and had lived in Ruston, LA for a number of years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston, LA and a former member of Sunset Acres Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. She also was a retired school teacher for the Jackson Parish School Board.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Gray and a son, James Reed Gray.

She is survived by one son, Calvin Gray and wife, Janet; daughters, Carolyn Hite and husband, Bill, Billie Richey, Patsy Callaway, Jane Lindsey and husband, Carl; sister, Mayme Caver; and one brother, Everett Odom.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Nelson, Aaron Bell, Randy Callaway, Kenneth Callaway, Elton Richey, Jr. and Walter Richey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Suzanne Salvaterra and Cynthia Averett.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana.
