Graveside services for Ms. Pauline Gray Allums, 87, of Bossier City, LA will be held on January 8, 2004 at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Chaplain Dana Casey of Hospice of LA and her grandson, John D. Livingston of Katy, LA. She passed on January 7, 2004 in Bossier City.

Ms. Allums was born on September 10, 1916 in Critchon, LA to Joseph and Minnie Gray. The family home was in the Fairview Alpha Community. Ms. Allums retired from the Kroger Company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Allums, Jr.; son, John Gary Allums and two brothers, Thurman and R. G. Gray.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Gale Allums Livingston and husband Charles and Clair A. Marang; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Randy Marang, wife Melody and daughter Rachel, Shannon Banda, husband Michael and son Victor, John Livingston, wife Kathy and daughters Bailie and Emma, Janna Robinson, husband Robert and son Daniel, Joy Danielle Livingston, Surena Allums and wife Nava, Ariana Allums; four sisters, Helen Messick and husband, Truett of Kilgore, TX, Bert Sitter of Shreveport, LA, Jean Woosley of Ft. Myers, FL, Bobbie Slayton of Smithville, TN; sister-in-law, Opal Gray of Fairview Alpha and daughter-in-law, Faye Allums of Hurst, TX.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Willis-Knighton Hospice and Helen Gaw for the music. A special thank you Dr. Michael Sewell, Suzanne Wallace, RN and Chaplain Dana Casey.
