Mrs. Oma Launa Gray Adams --A native of Tishomingo, MS and resident of Mobile born July 5, 1916 and died June 21, 2003 in a local hospital. Launa was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest D. Adams, Sr.; her parents, Jessie and Myrtle Gray of Tishomingo County, MS; a brother, Burton Gray; sisters, Eileen Strickland, Mattie Hurley and Phoebe Holloway. Survivors include her daughter, Jean Adams and husband, James Fowler of Houston, TX; sons, Ernest D. Adams, Jr. and wife, Sharon of San Antonio, TX, Tommy Adams and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Donald Zachery (Christine) Easley of Houston, TX, Ernest Dean Adams of Austin, TX and Mariah Anne Adams of San Antonio, TX; great grandchildren, Robert Zachery Easley, Scarlett Lakata Easley of Baytown, TX and Linda Underwood, a special family member; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy., Saraland. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
