Luella Mae Booker was born April 2, 1922, to Day and Mary Green in Jamestown, Kansas. She returned to the other side on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, leaving two children. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday; Oct. 9 at the Cloverdale Funeral Home. Cremation was under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home. Luella spent most of her life in her beloved Idaho, meeting her husband Edward in Salmon, Idaho. They were married in March 1942. Luella leaves three grandchildren who will miss her with all their hearts. Edward passed in 1969 before Luella accepted the dedication of Idaho's Birds of Prey Natural Area from the United States Secretary of the Interior in Edward's name. Luella was the youngest of six children leaving a sister Getty Johnson of Topeka, Kansas, and brother Charles Green of Independence Missouri. Her departure will leave fond memories of good times past for all who knew her...
