She was born in Screven and lived in Winter Park since 1926. She was the widow of Burnett Braxton Bennett. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Winter Park and served as Sunday school teacher for the nursery, toddlers, juniors and intermediate classes.
SURVIVORS: several nieces, nephews and cousins.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Thursday at Old Bethel Baptist Church, burial in the church cemetery -Savannah Now, March 2000
