Emma Ellen Buttcane HEYBURN - Emma Ellen Buttcane, 73, of Heyburn, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Minidoka Memorial Hospital from a heart attack.
Emma was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Burley, Idaho. Daughter of Harvey Ernest and Sarah Margaret (Thomas) Green.
She married Ralph Leo Mickelson in 1956; She had 4 daughters from this marriage; Darlene, Margaret, Gloria, Emily; they were later divorced.

Margaret Jane to Wilma Jane Robbins, changed back to Margaret Jane Mickelson, and then to Margaret Courter.

She married Ralph Hodgson in 1962, She had one son from this marriage Ralph Paul Hodgson,he was adopted, his name was changed to Stephen Ray Vance.
She later married 1964,Donnel Earl Buttcane, She had 2 daughters from this marriage, Clare and Katenia
Emma loved to go fishing and she enjoyed reading. Her animals were a very important part of her life. Also important to her were the veterans. She worked at Ore-Ida, retiring on 9-9-1999 at 9 a.m. She Picked this date to retire and thought it was very funny she had many good laughs about that.
She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Fischer of Yelm, Wash., and Margaret Courter of Twin Falls, Idaho; three grandchildren, Chuck, Matt and Noah; three great-grandchildren; a sister, LaVora Mae Green; a son-in-law, David Wrigley; Daughter-in-law Jackie Hemmerly-Peace-Vance and many stepchildren. and the love of Stephen Vance life many step grandchildren. And Katenia compaion of 6 years Mike Lafferty.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Clare Buttcane-Wrigley and Katenia Buttcane-Lafferty; a son, Steven Vance; two grandchildren Adam Lafferty and Kriatiana Wrigley;and a brother Ernest Allen Green and a son-in-law William Oren Alex Fischer.
An urn service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at the View Cemetery, 600 S. 700 E. of Burley. Services are under the direction of Hansen-Payne Mortuary in Burley.
