She married Pleasant H. Aulds on 26 May 1946 and moved to China Lake, CA in July 1951.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Eunice Green, husband Pleasant Aulds, one infant son and three brothers, James, Stanley and Scottie Green.
She is survived by five children: daughters Bonnie Davis (Arnie), Sybil Lint (Dale), Sherry Aulds and two sons Randy Aulds and Jerry Aulds (Andrea), 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is also survived by three sisters, Jimmie Bradshaw, Elaine Kelly and Reatha Foster and one brother, Melvin Green. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
Doris and Pleasant moved to China Lake and were married for 46 years. She was a wonderful mother and housewife during the day, raising five children and a waitress in the evening until she started working at Contel as an all-night operator.
Doris loved her family, and wanted them to remember her "for the love she had for them". She will always be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.
