OBITUARY

MRS. N. B. GRETSINGER

Mrs. N. B. Gretsinger died at her home in this city Sunday evening after a protracted illness. She was a victim of [cancer?] and one form that her illness took was in the honey-combing of the bones on her leg, so that nearly a year ago the leg broke under her weight and she had since been confined to her bed. Her condition for months had offered no hope of improvement, and the end as it has come, had been plainly foreseen.

Her maiden name was Melissa Bradford, and she was a native of Indiana, being at her death in her sixty-fourth year. She and Mr. Gretsinger have been residents of Nevada for nearly half a century, and here they have had their many friends and intimate associations. She was active in the W. R. C. and in later years in the work also of the Presbyterian church. She leaves her husband, one son, Will and three daughters, Mesdames Totten, Sowers and Tarman, and also two sisters, Mesdames Wakeman and Hulse, as well as unnumbered friends. Her funeral is conducted this afternoon from the house by Rev. J. G. Leitch.
