Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Kenneth R. Gretsinger, 86, of Austintown who went to be home with the Lord on Wednesday morning. Kenneth was born March 27, 1921 in Ellsworth Ohio, the son of Louis and Lida (Lenhart) Gretsinger. He was a Navy veteran of WWII serving on the Battleships U.S.S. Indiana and the U.S.S. Washington. Kenneth owned and managed K&B Furniture until his retirement in 1980. He attended the senior services at Highway Tabernacle Church, was a life member of the V.F.W. and a former member of the Masons and Shriners were he was very active for several years. Kenneth also was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating. He leaves his wife, the former Jane Wolfe, whom he married March 31, 1976, five children; James (Ana) Gretsinger of Muscatine IW, William (Pam) Gretsinger of Boardman, Dennis Gretsinger of San Diego CA, Patricia (David) Foltz of Houston TX, and Kenneth (Penny) Gretsinger of Streetsboro, two step-children; John (Deborah) Egner of Boardman and Donna (Rick Aparicio) Egner of Pompano Beach FL. Kenneth also leaves fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by a son; Charles Gretsinger, two brothers; Ralph and Paul Gretsinger, and one sister Gladys Lamp.
