Betty J. Gretsinger, 82, of Sebring passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center. Betty was born in Salem on December 18, 1928 the daughter of the late Carl F. and Susan (Shull) Young; she attended Fordham University and worked for Dr. Richard Canon in Girard as a receptionist and bookkeeper. Mrs. Gretsinger was also employed at Woolco in Boardman; she was a member of the Damascus United Methodist Church, a previous member of the Struthers and Ellsworth United Methodist Church's, a member of the VFW Auxiliary #9571 in Ellsworth an avid card player and was also a member of various other clubs throughout her life. Survivors include her son Timothy (Lynn) Gretsinger of Boardman, a daughter Susan Vogelberger of Fairview, PA, a daughter Janis (Jack) Guzi of Kent, OH, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two sisters Martha Parks and Virginia Beckert both of Sebring. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Paul L. Gretsinger on May 2, 2004, her son-in-law Gary Volgelberger, a brother Carl F. Young Jr. and a sister Dorothy Wecht. Per Betty's request a private burial will take place at Ellsworth Cemetery
