Warren was born on July 3, 1937 in Nashville, TN to Clarence and Larena Griffin. He graduated from Pearl High School and went on to attend Tennessee State University, graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He married his best friend, Margaret Anne Roundtree (Tree), in 1960.
After moving to CA, Warren began working for Hewlett Packard as a Machinist in 1966, and retired as a Department Manager there in 1997. Over twelve years, the couple welcomed five children into their home and Warren set about teaching them strong work ethics, values, principles and to believe in themselves, family and God. His children remember him as a driven and fun loving father who encouraged them to keep family first and pursue their goals knowing you could accomplish anything while keeping a sense of humor and trusting in God.
Warren was accomplished at helping people, problem solving, making people laugh and was a fine singer; he never met a stranger and collected friends from every walk of life. Warren was a generous, witty, dedicated and loving individual who loved fishing, golf, boxing, and he LOVED his yard!
The family would like to thank the Kaiser Santa Theresa Oncology hospital staff and Hospice for their efforts, and compassionate care of Warren and his family.
