BOESCH, Lorraine - Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Boesch, 47, will be held in the Arvin Union Congregational Church, Friday at 2 p.m., under the direction of the H. R. Borgsdorf Mortuary. The Rev. Joseph Green, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial park. Mrs. Boesch was born at Myrtle Point, Ore., and was a resident of the Arvin area for 20 years, making her home on the Woodwoth Ranch on Towerline Road. Her death in a Bakersfield hospital on Dec. 13 followed a lengthy illness. Survivors include her husband, Bob; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Combs of Arvin; a sister, Miss Margie Griffin of Visalia; one grandson, Marty Combs of Arvin and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Roy Chaplin, H. E. Woodworth, Edgar Combs, Auzzie Turoonjian, Lloyd Emery and Alfred Howard. In lieu of flowers friends so desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer society in memory of Mrs. Boesch.
