Born in North Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Mancini) Grimaldi, Mrs. Benway had lived in Warwick most of her life.
She leaves two daughters, Roseanna Fernholtz of Fullerton, Calif., and Bertha Peddicord of North Providence; two sons, Albert Grimaldi of Lincoln and Joseph Benway of Pelham, N.Y.; two sisters, Elvira Montanaro of Providence and Mary Pollins of Warwick; six brothers, John and Louis Grimaldi, both of Providence, Alec and Joseph Grimaldi, both of Warwick, Domenic Grimaldi of Johnston and Jack Grimaldi of Burlington, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:45 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Ann's Curch, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
