Daughter of an Army officer, she lived in New York State, Savannah, GA Springfield, MO and Florida. Graduated from Springfield High in 1947, attended junior collegein Pensacola (FL) and FSU. Married in 1955 at St. Peter's in Rome, lived in the southeast for 20 years and in Saudi Arabia for 20 years; moved to Seattle in 1996. Married for 56 years to Ralph R. Burwell. A devoted mother of six Thomas (Gerryanne) Marietta, GA Margaret (Lenny) Atlanta, GA Louie (Leeanne) Seattle, WA Anthony (deceased at childbirth) Joseph (Austin, TX) Jerry(Lisa) Seagrove Beach, FL and loving Grandmother to Christina, Joseph, James, Danny, Nicolette and Brigette. She is survived by her sister Barbara Grimaldi of Miramar Beach, FL. Her gentleness will be missed by all, friends and family alike. She was an incredibly talented artist and her work is cherished by many.
