Dr. Arthur Lee Grimsley, Jr., 87, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at McLeod Hospital in Florence after a brief illness.
Dr. Grimsley was born April 4, 1927, in Jacksonville, Florida, a son of the late Arthur Lee Grimsley, Sr., and Venice Knight Grimsley. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. Dr. Grimsley was a firm believer in chiropractic treatment to heal the body by natural means. He practiced chiropractic for 48 years and treated all his patients faithfully regardless of their ability to pay.
Dr. Grimsley was preceded in death by his wife, Genell Harrell Grimsley; and two brothers, Joseph Carl Grimsley and Bobby Grimsley.
