Johanne Mathilda Ziehn Grubert immigrated to the US from Prussia in June of 1868, with her husband Rudolph and infant son Adolf. The family arrived in Baltimore MD and soon settled in Chicago, IL. by 1870. The family lived on Blucher Ave until the time of her death in 1898. She was the mother to Adolf, Laura, Adolph Charles, Ottila, Alma, Ella, Agnes(my grandmother).She was predeceased by her infant son Adolf who died upon their arrival to the US. My Great Grandmother is located in the Old German Section I.G. 3171.
