Mrs. Bittner was born in Cuyahoga Falls and had resided in Tallmadge the past 37 years moving there from Stow. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallmadge.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert M. Sr; sons, Robert Jr. and his wife Barb, Lyle (John) and his fiancee, Julie Longstreth, Joel (Todd) and his wife Ginny and Leonard and his wife Linda; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Don Rosser, Laura and Chuck Smith and Margaret and Brad Lockhart; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Beverly) Guinn, Milton Guinn and Lyle (Violet) Guinn; sisters, Hennrietta Cook and Donna (Mel) Stockman and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday.
