Medical Center, Gonzales. She was 69, a native of Skiatook, Okla., and a
resident of Galvez. Visiting at Faithful United Methodist Church, Galvez, 9
a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev.
Jay V. Daigle. Burial in New River Baptist cemetery, St. Amant.
Survived by a daughter, June Cutrer, Galvez; a sister, Mable Watts,
Livingston; a brother, Hubert Guist, Brittany; four grandchildren, Dennis,
Marla, Valerie, and Marleen Cutrer, all of Galvez. Preceded in death by
parents, Albert V. and Faye Hines Guist; seven brothers, Vernon, Cecil,
Charlie, Claudie, John, Robert, and Herbert Guist. Welsh Funeral Home Guardian Chapel, Gonzales, in charge of arrangments.
