Bobby Glenn Gunn, 67 of Star passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9400 W. Floating Feather Road, Star, Idaho, Bishop Cory Hofman officiating, with a viewing to be held at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will take place at 1 p.m., (please arrive at 12:45 p.m.) Tuesday, May 28 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise. Arrangements are being provided by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300
Bob was born May 17, 1946 in Jay, Florida at home to James Cecil and Johnnie Earlene Gunn. He married Carolyn Feik on September 28, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married 42 years. Bob worked at Loomis Fargo for 37 years.
Bob loved to camp, fish and travel with his wife. One of his great joys in life was spending time with his son Curt and his wife Colleen and his two grandsons Conrad and Everett. He leaves many loving memories to be cherished by his family.
Bob is survived by his wife Carolyn of Star, their son Curt (Colleen) and two grandsons Conrad and Everett all of Boise, his brothers: Johnny, Henry and Eddy Gunn from Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
The family of Bob Gunn would like to give special thanks for the sweet comfort and care given by First Choice Hospice.
