Rev. J.W. Gunn Retired Nampa Minister, Dies

NAMPA —The Rev. Joseph Wallace. Gunn, 92, of 264 Davis avenue, a retired Episcopal church minister, died Wednesday night in his home.
The Rev. Mr. Gunn was born Jan. 10, 1861, at Fairdale, Ill. He started his work as a minister of the Episcopal church in 1917 in Idaho and served from 1923 to 1927 as pastor of the Grace Episcopal church of Nampa. He retired in 1930 and since had made his home in Nampa. He was a member of the Elks lodge of Ouray, Colo.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mabel F. Gunn of Nampa; one son, Joseph W. Gunn, Jr., of Nampa; one daughter, Mrs. Lois Lonergan of Longview, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. J. B. Russell of Wheaton, Ill., and three grandsons and three great grandsons.
