Virginia G. Aguilar (Guzman) died peacefully on October 27, 2009.

Born January 19, 1925 in Clarkdale, AZ; she lived in Ambos Nogales until she moved to Tucson in 1974. She was employed by St. Joseph's (Holy Cross) Hospital for 15 years and later by the Diocese of Tucson. She was also an active Cursillista and member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by husband, Jesus S.; daughter, Rose and brothers, Reginald Guzman and Ramon Jauregui.

Survived by daughters, Sole, Esther, Olivia, Elena, Alba Luisa (Henry), Lourdes and Sylvia; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Reyes Verdugo, Refugio Cota, Angela Altamirano, Maria Jauregui and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her strong personality, sense of adventure, compassion for others and love of family. We will miss you.

Services will be Tuesday, November 3, 2009 with a Visitation at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Rosary 8:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret's Parish, 801 S. Grande Ave., Tucson, AZ with interment at Southlawn Cemetery, 5401 S. Park Ave., Tucson, AZ. Funeral Services with MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
