Luis Guzman Benavides is related to me.. somehow. All the Benavidez' are related in Encino, Texas. From his birth year and death year.. I think he could be my Great Grandfather's brother. I already asked my dad and he does not remember his father speaking of Luis. I will start asking around.

January 3, 2012 - This may be Luis Guzman, eldest son of Meliton Guzman & Maria Rita Benavides. He was born 2/14/1874 in Cameron County and died 11/5/1918 near Encino.
I can't find that he was ever married. He was brother of my great grandmother, Manuela Guzman Garza.
