Juana Guzman Borjas, 93, died Friday, June 26, 1998, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen. Miss Borjas was a McAllen resident since 1911 and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by a niece, Santos B. Peralez of McAllen; nephews, Simon Borjas of Alexton, Ohio, and Pablo Borjas of Harlingen; and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. today, Sunday, June 28, 1998, at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel, 800 N. Main St., McAllen. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 1998, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. Pallbearers will be Mauricio Peralez, Joe Angiel Peralez, Enrique Peralez, Arturo Peralez and Noe Peralez.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of McAllen.
