DONALD O. HAFEMAN
Donald O. Hafeman, age 72, a former Manitowoc resident, currently of 25 N. Main
St., Clintonville, died on Thursday morning Aug. 9, 2007, at his residence.
Don was born on Aug. 18, 1934, in Green Bay, son of the late Henry and Alma Kay
Hafeman. He graduated from Algoma High School with the class of 1952. He later
received an associates degree in Mechanical Drafting from Lakeshore Technical
College. On June 16, 1956, he married Deanna Elm at Immanuel Lutheran Church in
Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1998. Don spent most of his life
as a journeyman carpenter, beginning as a home builder in Manitowoc and continued
with his own business traveling throughout Wisconsin, working in commercial
construction. After retirement he was employed with the Cawley Company in
Manitowoc.

Don was also preceded in death by four brothers: Leroy, Francis, Orville, and Harvey;
and one sister: Paula Hafeman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Redeemer Lutheran
Church. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard Miller, with burial to
follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007,
at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
Visitation will continue from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. on Monday,
Aug. 13, 2007, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
