Janice Sue Hagerman, 67, of Carey, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:59 a.m. at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

Born in Ironton, OH. on September 17, 1946, she is the daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred (Wright) Wicker.

She married Millard R. Hagerman, Jr. on February 20, 1970 at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God in Carey. He survives in Carey.

Surviving are her three children; Amy S. Wilcox, Port Clinton, Lori L. (Rob Barker) Hagerman, Carey, and Dan Hagerman, Carey. four grandchildren; Brittany, Cody, Taylor, and Sydney, one sister, Donna (Kent) Smith, Carey.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica A. Mack.

A 1964 graduate of Carey High School, she retired from the former Westhinghouse/A.O. Smith in Upper Sandusky after 30 years.

Sue enjoyed reading, cooking, and doing crafts. She loved her cats, too many to name.

Friends and family will be received 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME, Carey.

The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Joe Turner officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot County Humane Society or American Cancer Society in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 West Findlay Street, Carey, OH 43316.
