Constance (Hagman) Thrasher Finnegan, age 83, died peacefully at home Friday, April 18, 2014. She was the devoted wife of 45 years to Brian B. Finnegan of Plymouth. Born in Plymouth, April 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Per Johan and Hilda (Sundling) Hagman. She was educated in Kingston and a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1948. She was employed by the town of Plymouth as a clerical worker in the Tax Department as well as an operator for the switchboard. Constance moved to Plymouth in 1976, previously residing in Kingston. She was a member of the Kingstowne Players in the 1970s, a volunteer for the Plymouth C.O.A., and a member of the Kingston Mothers Club. She enjoyed doing yard work, crocheting and knitting as a few of her favorite past times. Constance loved watching and caring for the wild turkeys and birds that frequented her yard. Besides leaving her husband Brian, she was the loving mother of Michael Thrasher and his wife Sandra of Nashua, N.H., and Sandra Slowey and her husband Charles of Plymouth. She was the beloved stepmother of Darrell Finnegan of Jamaica Plain, and Brian Finnegan and his wife Danielle of Grand Island, Fla. She was the dear sister of William Hagman of Kingston; and was predeceased by many siblings; grandmother of 3; great-grandmother of 6; and great great-grandmother of 2. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth. The memorial service will take place Friday morning at 11 a.m. in the Cartmell Funeral Home at 11.
