Augustine F. Hahn Sr., 68, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away suddenly on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at Southern Ocean County Medical Center, Manahawkin. Born in Staten Island, NY, he lived there before moving to Manalapan where he resided for 36 years. He was employed by the U.S. Post Office in Manalapan before retiring and moving to Little Egg Harbor. Augie loved his family and friends but, most of all, he enjoyed being with his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; his two sons and daughter-in-law, Augustine Jr. of Manchester, NH and Christopher and Erin of New Hope, PA; and two grandsons, Christopher Jr. and Nicholas.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, August 4, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 5, at 11 a.m., at Old Tennent Presbyterian Church, 452 Tennent Road, Manalapan. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Manalapan.
