It's with a heavy heart that I inform you Bob "Barbarosa" Haines, first Noble Grand Humbug of Snake River Chapter No. 1811 Passed to the Golden Hills this morning. Our thoughts go out to his family, and the lovely little lady in his life Judy.

Thank you Gene "Dickhead" Dunker for sponsoring our friend. I'm grateful to have known him. I'll pass more information on as it becomes available.

Twenty-two years ago, I sponsored Bob Haines into PXL and gave him the name "Barbarosa". He was my neighbor and dear friend. About 10 years ago, Bob moved to Idaho, just in time for the collapse of the L&C Outpost. Not wanting to leave all these new Brothers with nowhere to clamp, Bob worked for many years on the Snake River Chapter, and became it's first Humbug when they were chartered.

Today, Barbarosa went to the Golden Hills after suffering a massive stroke a few days ago. All ECV has lost a great, unselfish, hard-working Brother. If and when I hear of services or memorial gift ideas, I'll post it. In the mean time, I'm just going to cry a lot.

The funeral will be at the VA cemetery in Boise at 3PM on the 17th and at 4 PM there will be a gathering at Sully's Bar in Star, ID .
This is per Terry Wilson, current NGH of Snake River Chapter.
