A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Austin and Josie Brewer Haislip. She was a former employee of Genesco and a member of the McBurg Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Alton Clark and wife Mary Jo, of McBurg; one step-grandson, Ronnie Joe Brown of McBurg; three sisters, Katherine Beddingfield, Martha D. Smith and Peggy Haislip Mitchell, all of Fayetteville; one brother, Morgan Haislip of Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Madison Haislip and Sam Haislip; two sisters, Myrtice Haislip and Catherine Haislip McKinney. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Russell officiating. Burial followed in Wrights Cemetery, beside her husband, Hubert Clark. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
