Mrs. Josephine Haislip Davis, 84, 1601 Jackson Street, SE, died today at 6:35 a.m. at her reisdence after an extedned illness.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Guntharp Funeral Home chapel with Rev. R.E. Wilkins and Rev. W.L. Hacker officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Guntharp directing.
Survivors include the widower, J.S. Davis, Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. Ermine Brown and Miss Modell Davis, both of Decatur.
The body will remain at the funeral home.
She was a native of Marshall County, Tenn, and a member of the Sixteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
