Services for Mrs. Eva M. Benedict, 82, of Tavares, Fla., formerly of Manlius, who died Wednesday at her home, will be Sunday at Eaton-Tubbs Funeral Home, Fayetteville, the Rev. Sheldon B. Stephenson officiating. Spring burial will be in Manlius Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. She was a native of Manlius and a member of Chapter 493, Order of the Eastern Star of Manlius. She was a member of the Rebekahs and Manlius United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Claude B. Benedict, a former town of Manlius supervisor; a son, Claude M. Benedict of Manlius; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Manlius Fire Department.
