LOWELL -- Leola F. "Lola" (Hall) Cashman, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Lowell General Hospital. She was 88 years old. Lola was the beloved wife of Francis Cashman who died in 1993.
Leola F. Hall was born in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania on June 3, 1927, a daughter of the late Louis F. and Beatrice (LeBlond) Hall. She was educated in the Lowell Schools. Leola married Francis D. Cashman in 1951 at the Sacred Heart Church. Mrs. Cashman remained at home to take care of her family.
Lola was a parishioner of the former St. Joseph's Lithuanian Church.
Lola, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She loved the beach and going to the ocean.
Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved taking care of them in her younger years.
Mrs. Cashman was the mother of Kenneth W. Cashman who passed away in 1989.
Surviving Mrs. Cashman are her son, Francis "Dan" Cashman and his wife, Peggy of Nashua, NH; her daughter, Lori Cashman of Lowell; her two grandchildren, Samantha Cashman of Manchester, NH, and Kenneth Cashman of Nashua, NH; a sister, Rita Caron of Laconia, NH; and a nephew, Richard Danjou.
Leola was the sister of the late Isabelle Danjou and Carolyn Hall.
CASHMAN -- in Lowell, February 18, 2016, at a local nursing home, Leola F. "Lola" Cashman, 88, of Lowell. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on TUESDAY MORNING from 9 until 11 A.M. Mrs. Cashman's FUNERAL SERVICE will follow at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial in the family lot in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
