Helen Hall Grant, age 82 of Gallatin, passed away Monday January 2, 2016. Funeral Service will be Thursday January 5th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Wert Campbell and Dr. Travis Fleming officiating. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with grandsons, David Munday, Wade Munday, Samuel Grant, Jacob Grant, Matt Veale, David Smith, and Derrick Smith serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Wednesday January 4th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday January 5th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Grant was born April 23, 1934 in Sumner County to the late Henry Lee Hall and Lou Vena Cowan Hall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Harold Hall. She is survived by husband of 63 years, Earl S. Grant of Gallatin; children, Connie (Mike) Munday of Gallatin, Bob (Charlene) Grant of Greenbrier, Sandra (Walter) Veale of Bethpage, Judy (Jimmy) Smith of Crossville, and Donna (David, Sr.) Smith of Springfield; siblings, William (Mirian) Hall, Charlie (Sarah) Hall, Louise Hall, Nelson (Karen) Hall, Betty (Jim) Johnson, and Linda Hall; grandchildren, Dr. David (Waverly) Munday, Melissa (Billy) Meikrantz, Wade (Blair) Munday, Shelley (Matt) Bryant, Sam Grant, Jennifer Grant, Tracey Grant, Jacob Grant, Alyson (John) Wheeler, Matt (Stefanie) Veale, Bethany (Ryan) Shelton, Julia (Zach) Goss, Justin Smith, David Smith, and Derrick Smith; and 18 great grandchildren.
