Jennie Hall Bishop, 44 of Bennington died July 24, 2000, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Bennington, July 19, 1956, daughter of Texas and Priscilla (Ennis) Hall.
She attended schools in Bennington and was a graduate of Mt. Anthony Union High School. She later attended Southern Vermont College.
She married Bruce Bishop on Feb. 7, 1991 in Bennington.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Bishop was employed as a counselor in Bennington.
Mrs. Bishop enjoyed gardening and photography, and was a volunteer at the local elementary schools.
Survivors include her husband of Bennington, two daughters; a son; her mother of Bennington; three sisters; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:15 am at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home, and at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A private committal service will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
