Maureen’s career path led back to Minot when she became the Director of Companions For Children in 1981. She served the organization until 1988.

Maureen was united in marriage to Donald Carlson on July 1, 1991 in Kissimmee, Florida. They have made their home on the Carlson family farm over the years.

Maureen began her civil service career with the Minot Air Force Base on January 3, 1989, at the Family Support Center.
