Mrs. Mary Gladys Hall Clawson, widow of the late Joseph Robert Clawson died Sept 3 at 4:40 a.m. at the Jamestown hospital.
Mrs. Clawson was born August 10, 1868 at Mauston. Wis., the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Judson Hall. She attended school at Mauston. Mr. Clawson and Miss Hall were married at Mauston May 9, 1888. They lived in Wisconsin until 1898 when they moved to a farm northwest of Jamestown. In 1898 Mr. and Mrs. Clawson moved to Jamestown and this has been the family home since. Mr. Clawson died July 17, 1939.
Surviving are a son, Herbert Judson Clawson, Jamestown, and a granddaughter, Miss Christine Clawson. A daughter Mrs. Edward Thorn died in 1934. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 5 at 2 pm at the Eddy Funeral Chapel. Rev. Gerald E. Splinter, pastor of the First Baptist Church and Rev. N. E. McCoy will be in charge of the services.
Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery -The Sun, Jamestown, N. D.
