Mrs. Lee Hall Archer passed away at the age of 90 at the Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesborough on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

Mrs. Archer was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Iva Hall.

She was born in Springfield, Missouri, August 22, 1922, and grew up in and around Saltville, Virginia. Mrs. Archer graduated from Mary Washington College and received her Master's Degree from Indiana University. She worked in Radio broadcasting and later taught Speech and English at East Tennessee State University.

Mrs. Archer is survived by her loving husband of many years, Hunt Archer; her daughter, Susan Archer Pafford and her husband, Ron; her son Lewis Archer and his wife, Ginny; grandchildren, Kristen Archer, Adam Archer and Jacy Archer Reardon.

Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church Johnson City, 900 Spring Street, Johnson City, Tn. 37604.

The funeral service for Mrs. Lee Hall Archer will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday, November 24, 2012, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Garland Thayer will officiate.
The graveside committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM prior to the service.
